             21 October 2008

What a difference a year makes, The 2006 vintage tested our resources and our experience. Part of this was due to the fact that we more than doubled our production but some of the challenges just happened.

Our 2006 Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc have been sold out for over a month while we do have Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel which were bottled much more recently and in greater quantities.

Our 2006 Bastard Child was far more popular than we had anticipated and we have only a few cases remaining.

Our two estate wines this year, the 2006 Cabernet Franc and the 2007 Chardonnay were instant successes and each sold out in less than a week.

We released our 2006 Riesling only recently, after aging it over a year. It is tasting very well and, among Riesling fans, a big hit.

In contrast to the 2006 vintage, the 2007 vintage is behaving, with no prima donnas so far; we are excited with the balance and structure in these wines and will evaluate soon when to bottle them.

In September we held our first ever Fall Tasting, expecting about fifty people to attend for the five hour period on a Sunday. Over 160 people showed up and everyone had a good time. We plan to do this again.

We occasionally conduct private tours and tastings at the winery though the winery is not open to the public. If you are interested in these or announcements of future releases, please contact us and we will place you on our email list.
